They have just been named Museum of the Year 2023.
The prestigious Art Fund Museum title is the world’s largest museum prize. It was one of two Scottish museums to make the shortlist this year, alongside Scapa Flow Museum, Orkney.
The prize encourages more people to visit and gets to the heart of what makes a truly memorable museum.
Such a wonderful place and the perfect way to spend your Glasgow Fair weekend looking at some of the staggering 9000 objects that make up this unique Glasgow treasure.
